Lauren + Steve : Exploring the Vermont Mountains

I arrived at their little place (after several wrong turns) set amongst the rolling hills of central Vermont on Sunday afternoon in the midst of what we in the wedding industry call a *wedding hangover*. We hugged, squeezed, did the whole "OMG YOU'RE REAL" thing before I was all Guys, I need a NAP. I was so wiped from the drive and my wedding the night before that I didn't even see the thoughtful little welcome basket they had put out filled with local Vermont goodies like craft beer, cheese, bread from their favorite bakery, maple syrup, and some little bowls that Lauren made in her pottery class that are now sitting on my dresser.

They met in Boston, but both of them had a big little dream of moving to the mountains in Vermont. These two made it happen. They showed me around their hood (which is the cutest little most Vermont-esque town ever) and we went up into the hills of a friend's berry farm overlooking the most incredible views. I proclaimed "I'M MOVING TO VERMONT." This place was epic. But these two were even more epic. I can't wait to be back for their wedding in August.
